Mission Statement

Our mission is to empower people to Discover a New Life.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to provide the most powerful, effective, whole life intervention services  to those who are alienated from family, community, and society because of bondage to addiction, homelessness, incarceration, and other life challenges that are preventing them from experiencing a positive, productive, purpose filled life.

Values Statement

We believe that all people are created in the likeness and image of God and are entitled to respect, dignity, empathy, and being valued regardless of their social and economic status, lifestyle, or life challenges.

We believe in seeing people as individuals worthy of love, grace, and compassion.

We believe that the power to change begins in an emotionally, physically, and spiritually safe environment,

New Life Discovery Project aims to develop skills through transitional employment, providing our workers with the appropriate skills in order to transition to mainstream employment. The worker’s “job readiness” will be measured in three areas :

  • Soft Skills such as attendance and punctuality, work performance; proper dress; and workplace communication and attitude.
  • Hard Skills. The skills specific to a job such as food preparation, operating a forklift, skilled labor, or education and training for a chosen career path.
  • Personal Readiness. Required documentation such as ID, Social Security Card, transportation, stable living environment, child care, and health.

Career Development

New Life Discovery Project program participants will also receive career guidance and counseling and develop a personalized career plan. Career development plans may be further education, skilled labor certifications, apprenticeships, or other pathways to a rewarding and sustainable career.
